ALEX CITY, AL - A Lanett man has died after a two-car crash on Nov. 5.
Police say 29-year-old Nicholas David Patterson was killed in the 2008 Nissan Sentra he was driving collided with a 2018 Mack tractor-trailer.
Police say Patterson was not wearing a seat belt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say the crash occurred just before 9:30 a.m. on Alabama 50 near Providence Road, about three miles east of Lafayette.
The roadway remains closed in that area to remove the tractor-trailer.
Nothing further is available as Alabama State Troopers continue to investigate.
