PITTSBURGH — Ben Roethlisberger tossed two touchdown goes to Antonio Brown, James Conner scored twice, and the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Cleveland Browns 33-18 on Sunday to convey some comfort to a city lamenting from catastrophe.
The Steelers (4-2-1) defeated a moderate begin and their own oversights to win their fifteenth directly at Heinz Field over the Browns (2-5-1), who have lost 25 back to back street recreations — one short of the NFL record.
The win conveyed impermanent solace to Pittsburgh's fans multi day after a shooter raged into the Tree of Life Synagogue and killed 11 individuals. A snapshot of quietness was seen before the amusement and a few signs with the Steelers' protective cap logo — trimmed with a Star of David — were shown by fans.
Roethlisberger associated on TD goes of 43 and 1 yard with Brown, and Conner kept on limiting Le'Veon Bell's nonappearance. Conner scrambled for 146 yards, and scored on a 12-yard keep running in the second from last quarter that put the Steelers ahead 23-12.
Conner's 22-yard TD with 2:04 remaining made it 33-12.
